Alicia I met the man of my dreams today. Tall, dark, gorgeous, I could have sworn he is from the lineage of Lucifer (who was said to be very handsome). Body of Zeus. That is my Dark Horse. Sadly he belongs to another. To an area I can’t go to. He is Juliana’s fiancée. She has been nothing short of nice to me. She doesn’t shout at me like Tobi or Susan. If it was any of them I wouldn’t even bat an eyelid. But I could swear he looked my way a few times. I don’t know what to do. He held my hand for a while as Julie made the introductions and then he pecked me on the cheek (Arrghh! Yes I know he did the same for others), but I could have sworn mine was special. Fine American based, fresh from abroad. The sun there must be really good. Ohhh he was glowing. Julie would have to forgive me big time on this one.... DISABILITY It’s always been troubling for me what goes on in the dreams one born blind. Constantly, I’ve wondered if even they can dream. I threw the question open on one of my social media platforms. And the replies were vague. All speaking in the concept of someone who had the ability to see. There’s a reason why something is called a “disability”. It is called so because the individual is very unable to do what seemingly other persons can. In this case, it involves sight. If for example, I try to describe what a mangoose is, I can only describe as much as I can, but if you have never seen one before then you can not get what creature I’m describing. So it is with the blind, how can we expect a person who was born blind to be  able to visualise in their dreams what a human looks like, what the environment is like? A slave to what? You may ask? Well, I’ll tell you. A slave to the system. I’m not even about to add up the years spent in primary or secondary schools. Nah! They told us education is the key! So guess what we did. We studied. Hard. While others failed, we passed. Just so we could get the key, even if it was the spare key. But imagine a society where you get less reward for getting a first class then being the winner of a big brother show, or should I say a dance competition. I guess they changed the lock to success and forgot to update us. So guess what. Thousands of unemployed graduates in the country. Who smile at you for thinking that because you have graduated, you have made it in life. Nah! They tell you to relax and wait for the real world to hit you. Well Ofcourse you have connections or money. Cos that’s the only thing that definitely paves way for you in this country. So what do you find here? What do you think! Well, I’m about to talk about asthma. Yeah! I know the spelling is incorrect, I just wanted to give it a heroes welcome. This condition as you may already know has claimed several lives in the past and most likely still will in the future. But how do we help to prevent these? Most persons are usually not aware they have this condition. Some develop it in later years. For example, Cristina went for an audition and guess what? Several other persons came for the interview too, nearly over a thousand in such a small place. After an hour she’s getting sweaty, light headed (oh no! I haven’t felt this way before) and before you know it, she’s on the floor; gasping for air! Previously the general knowledge on suicide was discussed. And it was stated that various agents of the society in one way or another contribute to the spate of the family. FAMILY How can ones family help to push one to suicide? Ever heard of busy parents? Or should we call them “available but unavailable”. Usually these parents are too preoccupied with “work” and providing financially for their kids and forgetting that the children just as much as need guidance not just materially, but physically, emotionally and most importantly, spiritually. The state of things in the country doesn’t make this easy to achieve; agreed. But it doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Children grow up in stages, from childhood through adolescence and then adulthood. No matter how grown up the child wants to claim, each stage is a new stage to the individual, and this is where parents are supposed to watch out for their kids, to guide them and help them adjust properly to whatever they may be experiencing....

Love brings us together. It’s the greatest gift ever given to man by God. And the giver showed it to us better than anyone else.  God had no reason to love us, it’s totally underserved.  Love??? Love can make one behave like a fool; makes people wonder if you are stupid. Some persons love more than others,  Some show affection better than others.  Whichever way, love exists in us all. All we have to do, is let it be seen... I love you. Not because of your hair colour( I could change mine and love myself more), not just for your muscles (I see quite a lot of persons with muscles these days), not just for your smile(I smile too), not just for your kindness, not just for loyalty. I simply love you. Because there shouldn’t be a reason to love you.  For if I loved you because of your hair colour, what happens when it changes?
